Leveque

There is a piece of land. It is called Leveque. God is doing incredible things with this land. Leveque is the location of Mission of Hope's 500 Homes. Today, construction on 138 homes has been started and 100 are close to or have been completed. Here is a beautiful story about a family that has received one of the homes.

Dreams Come True

Here are a few more faces of Leveque that I got to spend an afternoon playing, dancing, and laughing with!

We Are The Body of Christ

We are the body of the most High
We are the bride of a Savior
And we fall for the King of the kingdom
As we sing the songs of salvation

And we stand for those who cannot stand for themselves
And we love the loveless
And we go where Your light’s not shining
We are the body of Christ

We shine like a city on a hilltop
We boast in the Spirit living in us
And we march on a road leading to freedom
As we reach out our hands to the fallen

And we bring living water to the thirsty and
We live for the One who was and is and is to come

So our life counts for something greater than ourselves
We are the body of Christ

And our anthem will be a song of praise to the King
“He is worthy, He is worthy”

With one voice we will sing, “Where oh death is your sting”
He is mighty, He is mighty

I can't do this...

only He can!

As many of you may know, the last month has been full of my doubt, trusting in God, handing my life over, and watching, in awe, as God provides in amazing ways!

Fundraising for my time in Haiti has knocked me on my knees many times. Every time, God continues to remind me that this is not about me, I can't do this, and it is only through Him that I am able to live this life. He always provides.

For my year at Mission of Hope I needed to raise $1,000 a month ($12,000 total). Today, I only need to raise about $1,000 more. My family, friends, and even those I haven't met before have come alongside me and supported me more than I ever thought possible!

Thank you for your support, whether financially or through prayer, it has made all the difference! We can do all things through Him alone!
