The end of my year in Haiti is closing in quickly and this week has been one of the hardest weeks of my life. Though I refuse to say goodbye, the 60 "see ya laters" I will be saying seem unbearable at this point. If there is one thing that God has taught me over the past year, it is that I can do NOTHING on my own! God has given me strength for everything I have done this year; all of the activities and classes, the times that broke me, and the times that I laughed harder than ever before. God has added 60 beautiful, talented, and amazing kids to my life. The community and family that I have gained here will be there for life. I will be forever grateful for this past year and for every person that supported me through this journey.
As I prepare to transition back to the States, my passion for Haiti and it's people is just as strong as the first time I came in 2007. Haiti is, and will forever be, my second home and family. Through this transition please keep me in your prayers as I say "see you later" and move back to Florida. Also, please pray that I would continue to have the ears to hear God speak into my life and the plans He has for my ministry. Though this time is extremely difficult, I feel so much excitement when I think about the possibilities of what is next. I am resting in knowing that He knows!!!

3Cords is officially moved in! I cannot put into words the joy, thankfulness, and and excitement I feel when I think about the journey that 3Cords has traveled over the last year. It is such a testament to the beautiful things that God is doing in this country everyday! As 3Cords gains square footage they gain the opportunity to hire more women. Today, we are seeing just the beginning of the plans God has for 3Cords and the lives it can touch.
So, we invited a bunch of people to celebrate and pray for the move!
Here's Marie Maude enjoying the awesome food that was made by some of the best cooks in Haiti! :)
There are gonna be some great cords and purses comin out of this place!

As my year in Haiti quickly(way too quickly) comes to a close, my fave time of year is kicking off! Yes, I'm talking about football season! For the first 2 games I will be cheering as loud as ever from Titanyen, Haiti!
I hope you are as pumped as I am for this season! Tomorrow, I will wake up, put on my Garnet&Gold, and pray that the satellite works at my friend's house!

It's Friday! So, we packed in the bus and headed to the beach! I got some great pics that capture a little of these kids' craziness!
Last night was a blast too! We had a party last night for all of the younger Hope Village kids who have been helping with VBS for the past 8 weeks! I can't tell you how proud of them I am!!!

Today was the last day of the 8 week VBS at Mission of Hope and it will never be forgotten! It would be difficult to forget any VBS with 900 kids in attendance!
Welby played some drums!
And Christella, Sophonie(not pictured), Nanel, and Marie Carmelle's Grandmother came to visit! So precious!

In the 8th week of VBS at Mission of Hope we have as many kids as ever and are still having so much fun! I finally remembered to take my camera and grab some pics on Monday! The morning starts out with chapel, songs, and games in the church with all of the kids. They are then split up into 4 rotating stations... crafts, community health, Bible story, and sports. The day ends with everyone eating in the cafeteria of the school.
